Aida Nuranova, MA in Multilingual Education (2020) and CELTA certified (2023), works at Nazarbayev University as a Professional Learning and Development Expert. Her role includes leading AI-focused workshops for schools and communities of practice at the Center for Innovation in Learning and Teaching. Aida actively participates in the WISE World Innovation Summit for Education, focusing on AI in Higher Education and the Workforce. In 2024, she received a research grant from the Central Asian Research Centre for Educational Innovation and Transformation (CARCEIT). Her project, "Changing Academic Profession in Kazakhstan: Examining Faculty's Research Performativity and Accountability in the Post-Socialist Context of Higher Education," explores evolving academic roles. She also authored a significant case study on micro-credentials for UNESCO-ICHEI, titled "Building effective mechanisms for continuing professional development of higher education teaching personnel".

An educator and technology professional, Dr. Akhtar brings expertise in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence to both vocational and higher education contexts. Committed to equipping learners with the skills required to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape, he integrates practical experience with academic insight. As a founding member of the Asia-Europe Foundation's AE4AI network, he contributes to the promotion of ethical and inclusive AI practices across regions. In addition, as an AWS Community Builder, he supports global knowledge-sharing in cloud and AI technologies.

Aside from academic management and teaching EAP, my scholarly interests encompass areas such as AIED, networked learning, faculty professional development and technology enhanced learning. I try to relate my research both to my current work at Nazarbayev University in an English as a Medium of Instruction institution, but also to what I learnt during my PhD in E-Research & Technology-Enhanced-Learning journey with Lancaster University.

​Amna Hashmi's specialization lies in the field of miniature painting and digital arts. Focusing upon the linkages between Persian and Mughal illuminated manuscripts with Japanese manga, her work revolves around her primary interest of storytelling and the recording of historical events - exploring the role of myths and folklore, creation of magical and collective imaginary spaces, particularly in the context of modern digital spaces. Her current research focus is on the effects of technology upon the environment, and overwriting of indigenous narratives in the process. Her recent works have been shown in the He Yuan Peace Garden Museum, Beijing, China (2017), and Tsinghua University Art Museum, China (2020) - and as part of the artist collective Pak Khawateen Painting Club - Lahore Biennale 02 [2020], Jameel Art [2022], Sharjah Biennale '15 [2023]. Hashmi is currently an Assistant Professor at Department of Art and Design at COMSATS University, Islamabad.

​Dr. András Lukács received his degree in mathematics from ELTE Eötvös Loránd University in 1992 and his PhD in 1998. He specializes in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing.
He gained his research and industrial project experience while working at the SZTAKI Institute for Computer Science and Control, where he co-founded and led the Data Mining and Web Search Research Group in the early 2000s.
Since 2018, András has been coordinating the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Research Group at ELTE's Institute of Mathematics. Over the past two decades, he has led or been a leading specialist in dozens of domestic and European-supported and corporate artificial intelligence research and development projects. He has been teaching at ELTE for more than three decades, introducing the Data Mining subject and currently organizing and instructing courses on the latest topics of Artificial Intelligence.

I am a faculty member on the institution I am affiliated with and is currently pursuing a degree in Masters in Information Systems. I am an active researcher at our institution and is interested in pursuing the fields of Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Business Process Management, and AI. 

Anggraini is a lecturer in Informatics Department at Adisutjipto Aerospace Technology Institute. Her focus is in data science coding and programming (Java and Python) within the aerospace technology and a keen researcher in AI field. She is a Certified International Specialist in Data Engineering (CISDE). In summary, data science and AI are closely intertwined, with data science providing the data and preparatory work needed to train and fine-tune AI models. AI, in turn, uses these models to automate decision-making processes, recognize patterns, and perform tasks that traditionally require human intelligence.

An innovative leader with significant managerial experience in the higher education institutes, including a strong record in initiating new programs at undergraduate and graduate level, fund-raising; an active teacher and researcher with substantial past and current research programs; a passionate humanitarian and community leader; and a tireless advocate for education and for the role of the entrepreneur mindset (to produce job creator not job seeker) in the education system. An energetic, highly-motivated  academician/researcher with Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) and Post Doctorate is interested in conducting research in areas related with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision & Data Science, Image/Video Processing, Computer Vision, Medical Imaging (MRI/ CT-Scan/ Mammograms/ Dermoscopic/ Ultrasound/ X-Ray/ Histopthology/ Retinopathy). A very active researcher with more than 130 research papers in international journals of repute and refereed conference proceedings.

​Mr Arvin DE LA CRUZ is an Associate Professor. He currently holds the Graduate School Research and Extension Chief position at the Philippines Polytechnic University. He gained a Network Security Expert Certification by Fortinet NSE Institute, a Scrum Foundation Professional Certified by CertiProf, and a TESDA Certified in Computer System Servicing and Event Management Services. Before the COVID Pandemic, his dissertation focused on the immense contribution of e-Learning on the Management of Schools, Colleges, or universities. This project study has a significant impact on the resiliency and sustainability of universities in terms of delivery mode of learning not only in the Philippines but also in the global community. His research interests focus mainly on technological innovations, including management engineering, machine learning, data science, data engineering, neural network system, image processing, cybersecurity, digital forensics, robotics, artificial intelligence.

Asst. Prof. Astika Ayuningtyas completed her master's program in computer science (UGM, Indonesia). Her research interests are algorithms and programming (C/C++), data science especially in data visualization, artificial intelligence, and software engineering in AI. Dia memperluas cakupannya dalam integrasi teknologi AI dalam proyek penelitian Perguruan Tinggi di Universitas. Currently, She serves as Head of the Informatics Department and Editor-in-Chief at Compiler Journal. She is a Certified International Specialist in Data Visualization (CISDV) and is part of the Aerospace Intelligent Systems and Data Engineering and Aerospace Health Informatics research groups. She is also a member of the Informatics and Computer Higher Education Association (APTIKOM). The sub-themes within ASEFInnolabs help her to develop a further understanding of the role of universities in the world of AI to enhance higher education.

​II have a robust background in machine learning and artificial intelligence, deepened through my PhD studies focusing on educational process mining. As a co-founder of Kimitisik, I have had the opportunity to teach AI, innovation, and entrepreneurship at 42 universities in 23 countries. This experience has provided me with a profound understanding of diverse learning cultures, which I believe is critical for effectively addressing the varied educational needs globally. I have also been involved in training STEM educators in 16 countries to employ challenge-based learning and to integrate AI tools in their teaching practices. My expertise not only spans technical areas but also includes innovative pedagogical approaches. While my skills and experiences align well with many global educational initiatives, they particularly resonate with the objectives of ASEFInnoLab5, where I see potential for significant contribution and mutual growth.

​Barbara is the Head of the Natolin Innovation Lab at the College of Europe. She holds degrees from Europa Universität Viadrina in Volkswirtschaft, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien in Entrepreneurship and Organizational Behaviour, and earned her PhD in International Economics from Warsaw University in 2004. Her PhD research focused on the Determinants of Labor and Household Activity of Women.
Since 2020, Barbara has led the development of new formats and topics in the extracurricular curriculum at Natolin Innovation Lab in the College of Europe. She developed the Natolin Nest format, particularly the Natolin Digital Transformation Nest, focusing on AI evolution and industry engagement. This initiative exposes students to leading AI companies, debates on AI's impact on higher education, and workshops exploring AI applications. Barbara's commitment to innovative education and understanding of AI governance and sustainable development make her a valuable asset in bridging academia with industry.

​Mr Bartlomiej Moniak, MSc in Computer Science and Intelligent Systems, specialising in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis, AGH University of Krakow. He promotes the latest inventions in AI industry by leading workshops and educating experts and researchers from different fields such as cyber security or medicine. His passion for new technologies is a great asset for Center of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence at AGH University of Krakow. He pursues his desire to learn about important issues in fields of AI such as ethics, humanity, education and research by attending international conferences, e.g. "Exploring the Frontiers of Technology and Humanity". 

Dr Bobby Sharma did her engineering, master degree and PhD in computer science & engineering, having 25 years of relevant experience. She is currently working as a Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Technology, Assam Don Bosco University. She is involved with different research projects including "Elephant conservation in Assam using smart border system", "Smart Border Security System", "Remote Diagnostics of Campus Network using IoT", "An Investigation on IoT Intrusion Detection System in Wireless Environment", "A Generic Simulation approach for performance analysis of the location-based wireless sensor network", "Multiple signal aggregator router", "Design and development of low-cost mobile ventilator". She is the Program Coordinator for first space talk conducted in NE region of India with Michael Fincke, and NASA. Also selected as the Indian Host Scientist,  selected by ASEAN-INDIA RESEARCH TRAINING FELLOWSHIP (AI-RTF). Her expertise is in the area of AI, WSN, IoT, DS, and network security.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bundit Thipakorn has served more than 20 years as administrator and lecturer in Computer Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Thailand. After his term as Deputy Secretary General for Higher Education Commission ended in 2017, he has actively involved in a policy-related projects and activities of Higher Education Commission which is now the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation. His interest mainly focuses on the area of higher education and teaching and learning in the 21st century e.g., Micro-Credential, Transforming Higher Education, the 21st Century Teaching and Learning Pedagogy, Outcome Based Curriculum and Course Design and Learning and Learning Space and Environment Design.

Carlo Zebedee R. Gualvez is a Registered Librarian and a Licensed Professional Teacher. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Library and Information Science from the Philippine Normal University. In addition, he is also a certified Data Analyst with a micro specialization in Operational Analytics from the Development Academy of the Philippines. In his years of experience, he was tasked to organize different library and information services, implement multi-partnership projects between Universities, and manage data through aggregations and drill-downs of both public and private institutions.
Currently, Carlo serves as a full-time faculty member at the Philippine Normal University, Faculty of Education and Information Sciences.
With seven years of experience as a Registered Librarian and Licensed Professional Teacher, Carlo's research interest lies in databases, data analytics, information services, and artificial intelligence.

Claudio Rivera is an educational innovator and leadership expert with more than 15 years of experience in senior executive positions in higher education institutions. For 20 years, he worked in higher education around the world with leading institutions, companies, and organisations. He designed and implemented formal and non-formal education programs in various countries, and as a consultant, he had worked primarily for startups and international companies in the banking and retail sectors. He also participated in training, valorisation, and research projects related to education, where companies, state administrative institutions, and educational institutions have participated. During the last few years, he had been one of the drivers of Latvian higher education reform.

Dr. Dalma Lilla Dominek graduated from the University of Pécs, first as a geography teacher and then as a lawyer. She later obtained her doctorate in Education at the Doctoral School of Education of the University of Pécs. Her research interests include the emergence of flow-based education in cultural and higher education institutions. She is an associate professor at the Department of Social Communication, Faculty of Political Science and International Studies, Ludovika University of Public Service. Two books have been published so far: the first is Flow, or Playful Communication in Museums, and the second is Experience-based Environmental Education in Science Museums. She has several years of experience in public administration. She is a member of the Andragogy Subcommittee of the Pedagogical Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and a public member of the Pedagogical Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. 

Dr Dhruva Ghai is currently working as the Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Oriental University, Indore, India. He obtained PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of North Texas, USA in 2009. He is a senior member of IEEE and a reviewer for various IEEE Transactions and Journals. He is a fellow of IETE (The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) and has served for 2 terms as Chairman of the IETE Sub centre at Indore. He has served as the Vice Chair-membership, Executive Committee, IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on VLSI (TCVLSI) from 2017 to 2020. During his tenure, he was instrumental in establishing a new TCVLSI conference (ieee-ises.org) as the Founding General Chair in 2015 and Steering Committee Vice-Chair since then. It needs to be noted that iSES is the only new conference added to TCVLSI in the last whole decade. He is an associate editor for the IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine.

Dr. Dona Valy received his PhD in Engineering Science and Technology from Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium. He is currently the head of Mechatronics and Information Technology Research Unit at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia. His research interests span on Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing. He has been in Academia since 2011 and has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and conducting research.

Dr Edi Nuryatno is a Health Informatician by profession (member of Australasian Institute of Digital Health), MIS Specialist & Researcher in the areas of informatics: Clinical Algorithms, Advanced Digital & ICT. His expertise includes in EA, Health Data Science, MedTech & Digital Heath, Urban & Public Health Informatics. It identifies science & practice around information in health that leads to informed & assisted health care & non-health agencies to anticipate the activities of the health sector. Graduated from Edith Cowan University WA with a PhD in MIS focusing on Human Mechanisms, he was a recipient of 2 Australian Scholarship Awards: ECUPRS-International & IPREP WA.

I am a faculty member at the College of Computer Studies, Sultan Kudarat State University, where I teach computer science students. I specialize in web development and have a strong interest in artificial intelligence technologies. As an educator, I integrate real-world applications and emerging tech trends into my teaching to prepare students for industry demands. I am also an active member of the Smart University Digitalization initiative, contributing to the advancement of digital transformation in higher education.

Dr Faisal RIAZ is an Associate Professor at Mirpur University of Science and Technology. He is also leading a research lab named Control, Automotive and Robotics (CAR) lab. He has a PhD in the field of affective computing-inspired autonomous vehicles from Iqra University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He has a background in quality research and has experience with focused groups, interviewing and teaching. In his PhD research, he proposed an agent-based modelling paradigm which emulates an artificial human driver decision-making mechanism during collision avoidance. 

Moreover, due to his immense efforts and contributions in his area of research, he has been honoured to invent the world's first-ever human factor-inspired autonomous vehicle known as EMO. Most fortunately, after commencing his PhD, he has successfully secured funding (14.70 million) which has provided the needed support to push forward his work. 

FRANCESCO MARCELLONI is full professor of Data Mining and Machine Learning at the University of Pisa. He is the coordinator of the AI group and of the "Good AI Lab" at the Department of Information Engineering. He has been vice Rector for international cooperation and relations, and Erasmus Institutional coordinator at the University of Pisa from 2016 to 2022. His main research interests include explainable artificial intelligence, federated learning, data mining for big data and streaming data, sentiment analysis and opinion mining, clustering algorithms. He has an extensive publication record in scientific journals and conferences and serves as associate editor of prestigious international journals. Recently, he has received the 2021 IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems Outstanding Paper award and the 2022 IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine Outstanding Paper award. He has coordinated various research projects funded by both public and private entities.

Francesco Sanasi is a Project Manager in CIMEA's International Projects Unit. He has experience in studies and research activities in geopolitics and international security. He is a member of the team coordinating Erasmus+ projects on automatic recognition, digitalization and micro-credentials, recognition of qualifications held by refugees, as well as capacity building projects such as "RecoASIA- Regional Cooperation in the field of recognition among Asian countries" and "MICROCASA - Micro-credentials for lifelong learning and employability: building Capacities for developing Agile educational interventions in Southeast Asian universities". He has done research on AI in the field of recognition of qualifications and co-authored the publication "Artificial Intelligence and recognition of qualifications: opportunities and risks from an ENIC-NARIC perspective".

UEF Center of Project Design Education is in charge of developing curriculum and providing training to both lectures and students to embrace Design thinking and Innovation as a business strategy.  We have been applied Problem based learning, Project based learning as training techniques in our Project Design classes, which received positive results and feedback from learners. In the future, I aim to improve the curriculum and training to support young entrepreneurs and startups to be able to develop their initial ideas into real business through problem-solving skills and innovative spirit .

Christina Hell, head of the Division of Teaching Development and Digital Transformation, has been a member of the University for Continuing Education Krems, Austria since 2020. She has been active in the field of teaching development and digital transformation of university education across various prestigious European institutions, such as Oxford University in the UK and Sorbonne University in France, for over a decade. At the University for Continuing Education Krems, high-quality teaching innovation and development serve as the cornerstone of all continuing education programs. Flexibility in part-time study and innovative, digitally-supported teaching and learning formats will be continuously expanded in the coming years. Under Hell's leadership, the division aims to further enhance its pioneering role in integrating digital technologies and innovative teaching methods into education.

Ieva Vīksne is Junior digital prototyping expert in the Digital Innovation department under Riga Technical University Science and Innovation Centre. Her role in the department is to work on digital prototyping projects with digital technologies using UX focused methodologies, additionally she works with digital skill development focussing on prototyping with faculty, students and industry. She has been a guest lecturer for the last 4 years in various Universities in Latvia, in subjects connected with digital technologies. She has graduated from Vidzeme University with MA in Virtual reality and smart technologies, Liepaja University with a BA in new media art and University of Latvia with a BA in history.

I.Vīksne expertise lies in XR, mainly virtual reality. She has worked as a creative technologist in several education projects connected to implementing media and technologies in the education process.

Dr. Inge de Waard pioneers inclusive learning innovation in international, multi-stakeholder settings for over a decade. Her expertise leverages university and business partners within the European InnoEnergy ecosystem to collaboratively grow & increase SDGs impact by using innovative, educational AI approaches. She spearheads the AI roll out for increased societal impact of student initiatives within the sustainable energy sector, and strategically supports professors across the EU universities to raise AI literacy for teaching staff and students. Using the transformative power of AI resulted in competitive innovations in climate tech and creating AI-based business processes that support education. As a longtime researcher, activist, and award-winning learning innovator, her expertise is recognized by peers, resulting in research publications, invited talks and keynotes in both academic as well as professional conferences. Prof Irina Gabriela RADULESCU has been a member of the Faculty of Economic Sciences since 2004. Between 2016-2020 she was the Director of the Business Administration Department and is currently the Dean of the Faculty. She has experience in coordinating international projects being involved in Phare projects or European funded projects related to the development of innovative skills in web environments such as ICT supporting business and industry. She is also an expert on organic farming in the Swiss-Romanian Cooperation Programme. Her research interests are on the global economy, international trade and business ethics.

Since 2020, she has been coordinator of Wallachia eHub, a digital innovation hub, which aims to coordinate and stimulate the digital transformation process in the Muntenia region both for SMEs, clusters and other innovative alliances of the local business environment, as well as for other interested organizations, public or private.

Dr. Iwan Adhicandra currently serves as the Head of the Department of Informatics at Bakrie University. With over 25 years of experience in global higher education, he has made significant contributions at renowned institutions in the UK, Italy, and Australia. Holding a Ph.D. in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Sydney, he also possesses professional certifications in Data Science, Big Data, the Internet of Things from MIT, and Advanced Cyber Security from Stanford University. Iwan has been a Visiting Scholar at leading institutions in the Netherlands, Norway, Germany, and the USA, broadening his global academic perspective.

As a Senior Member of the IEEE (SMIEEE), and a member of ACM, IET, BCS, ACS, and the IEEE Standard Association, he actively engages in technological advancements and collaborations. For over 15 years, he has been a reviewer for prestigious journals, including IEEE Communication Magazine and IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing. 

Fan Weiwei (Jack) is a member of the 3rd Youth Leadership Summit of the Asia-Europe Foundation and has more than 10 years of experience in running technical communities. He has organized many large-scale activities to help Google promote open source technology and is committed to promoting the connection between China and the world. He himself is a technology enthusiast who pays attention to the implementation and application of technology. He founded China's first Google Developer Startup incubator.

​Jerrold is an Assistant Professor at the Singapore Management University School of Law and Deputy Director of its Centre for Computational Law. His present research focuses on legal NLP, network analytics, and good old legal questions around AI regulation and liability. He has published in prestigious scientific and legal periodicals including the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society, Legal Studies, and the Torts Law Journal.
At SMU he created and teaches an omnibus course on law and technology. He has also taught and presented on legal AI and AI governance at universities and professional conferences around the world, including in the US, Germany, Vietnam, India, and Japan. He currently serves as Principal Examiner (Law and Technology) for the Singapore Bar Exam and as a member of the Singapore Academy of Law Law Reform Committee on Generative AI.
Jerrold joined SMU in 2018 and obtained an LLM from Harvard Law School in 2020. He started programming computers in 2010.

Jessica is passionate about digital transformation of HEI and the sense of empowerment that it can provide to institutions, organizations, and individuals. In her current role she leverages digital tools as a primary enabler for I@H policy; responds to the demands of International Accreditation bodies; works on the school's internationalisation in line with its strategy, contributes to international experiential learning and oversees the international student well-being policy. Prior experience includes working in Brussels with European Institutions notably the European Parliament. Jessica currently serves as an ERASMUS Without Paper Champion; EAIE mentor and worked as an expert for the Campus France Bourse Eiffel Scholarship and the QS Reimagine Education Award. She has spoken at the Times Higher Education Digital Universities Conference, EFMD Online Learning Symposium, Annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition and co-develop content for the Innolab5 of the Asia-Europe Foundation.

Katerina Cernavska is an accomplished professional with a master's degree in communication from the University of Latvia and an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. With a background in IT and electronics industries, she brings a wealth of international corporate experience to her current pursuit of a master's degree in Educational Technology at the University of Tartu. Here, Katerina is at the forefront of pioneering AI-assisted learning activities that focus on teaching collaboration, problem-solving, and creative thinking. She is passionate about promoting a new era of learning powered by convivial technologies, bridging the gap between traditional education and modern, technology-driven pedagogy.

Khristian Garcia Kikuchi, was a graduate of Computer Science from the University of the Philippines at Los Banos in the province of Laguna. He is also a degree holder of Master in Management major in Public Administration and Master in Information Technology and currently taking a PhD in Data Science from the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) since 2018. He is also an active member of the Philippine Society of IT Educators Region 4A and has served as Chapter Officers for ten years, twice as president. His research thrust is focus on uplifting the quality of teaching and learning activities in the country by utilizing computing technologies such as Digital Game-Based Learning, used of Virtual Reality, and integration of Information System in the curriculum and course development. Currently, he is working with Educational Data Science in his PhD program.

Mr. Konstantinos Georgiou is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds an MSc on "Data and Web Science" as well as a BSc from the same Department. He has participated in several national and international projects related to Data Analysis, application of multivariate statistical methodologies, Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering. He has participated and presented his research in multiple international conferences and reputable scientific journals. His primary research interests include the examination of digital skills and the use of Explainable Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models for their timely detection in labour market data. Other research ventures include the development of quantum algorithms for biological sequence alignment, the use of knowledge graphs in Empirical Software Engineering and the investigation of graph theory metrics on interconnected skillsets.

Dr. Lafifa Jamal is a Professor at the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering, University of Dhaka. She is a Senior Member of IEEE. She has around sixty research publications. She delivered invited talks in Spain, the USA, South Korea, China, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. She is the Founding Director of Bangladesh Flying Labs which is a hub to connect robotics and tech researchers and enthusiasts from home and abroad. She is also serving as the Vice-President Bangladesh Open Source Network which aims to create a youth community empowered with technology, innovation and knowledge. She is the International Partner Country Representative from Bangladesh for the action "European Network for Gender Balance in Informatics" under European Cooperation in Science and Technology. Under her leadership, Bangladesh got the first Gold Medal in the 20th International Robot Olympiad 2018. She is also working in the core group to organize the 1st Bangladesh Artificial Intelligent Olympiad 2024.

Dr Lampros Stergioulas holds a Doctor of Philosophy, PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Liverpool.

Currently, he is a professor for Data Science and AI at the Hague University of Applied Sciences. Since January 2022, he is the holder of the UNESCO Chair 'Artificial Intelligence and Data Science for Society' awarded to The Hague University of Applied Sciences for four years.

Lars Mehnen is a prominent faculty member at FH Technikum Wien within the Competence Field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. He holds advanced degrees in Technical and Medical Informatics from TU-Wien, culminating in a Ph.D. His research primarily focuses on artificial intelligence, having authored multiple publications on AI applications in academia. Lars's expertise spans statistics, machine learning, and programming languages, contributing to significant projects in satellite communication and biomedical engineering. His work has both broadened academic understanding and enhanced practical applications in AI.

I am reliable, self-motivated and hard-working person. Within 15 years of experience in instructor and academic researcher at the National University of Laos, I understand the quality of teaching technique and have a deep acknowledge of the way how to write, design and produce the curriculum for entire grade school. Throughout the experiences of researching and teaching,
my objective as a lecturer is to motivate my students to develop their own learning interests and critical thinking to establish a learner-centered environment in the classroom.

Lorraine Ngaosi is a Professor at Saint Louis University for the past 26 years.  In 2012, she was awarded as the Most Outstanding Entrepreneurship Educator in the Philippines by The Entrepreneurship Educator's Association of the Philippines (ENEDA).

She served as one of the ENEDA National Board of Trustees for several terms and as the President for its North-Luzon chapter.  She finished her Master of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from Saint Louis University.  

She is currently a faculty of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Human Resource and Marketing Management and is currently pursuing her Doctorate Degree in Philosophy of Management. 

​Mafalda Teles Roxo is a Senior Researcher at LIAAD - INESCTEC (Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support) and an Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. She has a PhD in Management from FEP-University of Porto and a Post-Graduation in Business Innovation from Porto Business School.  She co-founded the AI Business School initiative at the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto. She is also responsible for the Open Training Course in AI for Research and Teaching AI for Research and Teaching in the same institution.
Her research interests focus on digital transformation, technology adoption, consumer psychology, and data-driven education. She also conducts research in international marketing.
Furthermore, Mafalda has supervised and co-supervised MSc. students and supported junior higher education enterprises since their inception.

Dr Manuel MUHI is a registered ASEAN Engineer (Professional Civil Engineer) and currently serves as the University President of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). Previously, he served as the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Research and Extension Planning and Development of the same university and as Dean of the PUP College of Engineering. He is a licensed Civil Engineer, a professional engineering manager recognized by the American Society of Engineering Managers, and a regular member of the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines, Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Transportation Science. Dr MUHI was also a member of the technical committee and panel for Engineering and Technology at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). He is a Doctor of Technology in Pavement Engineering, and obtained his Master of Engineering major in Transport and Road Engineering at the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands and Urban Planning at the University of Philippines Diliman, respectively.

Mark Vondenhoff is a senior researcher at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, specializing in data science within the field of sustainable health care. With a background in fundamental and experimental life science, he brings extensive knowledge of bio-medical aspects that need to be considered when translating AI-tools for practical health care purposes. His work focuses on Health Innovation within the domain of first line care risk analysis and prevention, in particular with respect to skin care. Vondenhoff's research explores challenges such as improving risk analysis and prevention education in order to better train health care professionals to reduce unnecessary care consumption. 

Matteo Testa, Credential Evaluator at CIMEA, who worked on the digitization of CIMEA's whole recognition process and on the innovative Diplome-Platform (combining Blockchain, digitalization and other technologies). He is now working on including AI into our recognition processes, in particular regarding the verification of authenticity.

Professor Matthew Montebello is a distinguished academic and the Head of the AI dept at the Univ of Malta (UM), where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI education and research. With a career that seamlessly blends computer science and education, he has developed a unique interdisciplinary expertise, specialising in the application of AI to e-learning. Md. Asif Iqbal is an experienced entrepreneurship educator and digital transformation leader with over 8 years of teaching and mentoring across Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, and the UK. Currently a Lecturer and Module Leader at Global Banking School - Oxford Brookes University, he specialises in Business, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing.
As the key initiator of the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Daffodil International University, he has pioneered educational innovation in Bangladesh. Asif has supported over 5,000 entrepreneurs globally through roles with the World Business Angel Investment Forum, Startup Grind Dhaka, and the Entrepreneurship World Cup.

Dr Minjia Chen is an assistant professor in finance at Nottingham University Business School, University of Nottingham, UK. A graduate of Zhejiang University, China, Minjia obtained her MSc and PhD in economics from the University of Nottingham. She previously held lectureships at the De Montford University, UK and the Aston University, UK. She has taught various undergraduate and postgraduate modules in economics and finance areas in these three universities. Her current research interests are mainly in the area of financial economics, including corporate finance, sustainable finance, fintech, AI, machine learning, firm productivity and employment. 

Dr. Muhammad Akmal Remli is the Director of the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Big Data (AIBIG) at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). AIBIG is a Center of Excellence focused on AI and Big Data research, development, and training. His research interests include artificial intelligence, data science, business intelligence, and computational systems biology. He has published extensively in indexed journals such as Expert Systems with Applications and Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Akmal and his team have secured over RM1 million in research grants, particularly in AI applications for bioinformatics and metabolic engineering. In addition to his academic role, he actively collaborates with industry and international institutions. He also serves as a visiting research fellow at the Centre for Research, Innovation, Development and Entrepreneurship (CRIDE) LT in the UK, strengthening global research ties and innovation efforts.

Muhammad Sajid received a B.Eng. degree from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), a Master's from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers (ENSAM) Paris Tech, France, and a doctorate from the University of Cergy Pontoise, France, in 2010. He completed postdoctoral research at Texas A&M University, Qatar. He is currently an Associate Professor with the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan where he is the Principal Investigator of Artificial Intelligence for Mechanical Systems (AIMS) laboratory. He has authored over 50 peer reviewed publications and his current focus of research is towards integration of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence with mechanical engineering problems by exploiting cloud-based infrastructure for high performance computing, leading to applications in external aerodynamics, heat exchanger design, as well as urban climate/sustainability for net-zero buildings.

Dr. Muhammad Sajjad holds the position of 'Tenured Associate Professor' in the Department of Bioscience at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan.He earned his PhD from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, with an international fellowship at ARS-USDA, California. Following that, he pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at IGDB, CAS, Beijing (2015-2017), and successfully completed his CAS-PIFI fellowship at CIB, CAS in 2023.
Dr. Sajjad is renowned for his discoveries of novel yield and quality-related genes in bread wheat, along with the development of user-friendly markers for marker-assisted selection (MAS) in wheat. He has also devised a  protocol for the discovery and haplotyping of multiple genes within a vast collection of accessions in bread wheat, which has been filed for a patent in Beijing. Additionally, he has introduced a simplified method for preserving wheat pollen grains and developed first high amylose wheat line in Pakistan.

I have done PhD in Computer Science from University of Innsbruck, Austria and Postdoc in a European Project at the Aarhus University, Denmark. My area of specialization within computer science is software engineering, Web Technologies, and software project management. I have around 20+ years' experience of working in higher education and R&D projects in Asia and Europe. Besides, I have participated in couple of very interesting research, development, and innovation projects in Europe and Pakistan. I have around 57 research publications in Journals, conferences, and workshops. At SAU Tandojam, I am also a member of Faculty Board of Studies, University Senate, and Academic Council. I participate in policy and decision-making agenda of the university related to academics, quality assurance, research, and development. Besides, I am the university focal person for Internships, Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Program, Online classes, and Coursera Digital learning initiatives.

Professor Niño NALDOZA is the current Director of the Institute of Knowledge Management and Head of the School of Information and Knowledge Management at Philippine Normal University (PNU). He is also a full-time Online Faculty Member under the College of Flexible Learning and PNU. He is currently serving as part-time faculty in the College of Education- PFD for Professional Education courses. He has been part of some of the projects and activities of SEAMEO INNOTECH for Educational Practices and Massive Open Online Courses. His current national research outputs are Digital Kids Asia Pacific National Research on Digital Citizenship in partnership with the South East Asia Ministry of Education Organization Secretariat (SEAMEO) and Department of Education (DepEd) as Researcher and Contributor; and The National Report on Basic Education Exit Assessment (BEEA) of the Department of Education (DepEd) as Subject Writer for Media and Information Literacy (MIL). 

Noorshella Che Nawi, an Associate Professor at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, holds a degree in Information Technology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, a Master's in Total Quality Management and Productivity Improvement, and a Ph.D. from Victoria University, Melbourne. Renowned for her impactful research, she has numerous publications in Scopus and Web of Science and has secured over 30 grants, including international and national ones. Notably, she leads projects like ERASMUS+ CBHE ANGEL and the Asia Pacific Women's Information Network Center. She was a Director of the Global Entrepreneurship, Research, and Innovation Centre (GERIC), and her current position as Dean at the Malaysian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship and Business, she fosters a culture of excellence and innovation. Noorshella is also affiliated with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and serves as a Research Fellow for UMK's GERIC and Angkasa-UMK Research Academy (AURA).

As an ESP teacher, different platforms are used in ESP classes i.e. Mentimeter, Quizlet, Quizzes, Kahoot, Wordwall for vocabulary practice; Redmenta for making tests; Moodle, Padlet for sharing practices with students; Mindomo, Edpuzzle for practising listening skill; Canva, Genially for speaking skill and the development of digital competence and ChatGPT for the development of critical thinking etc. As a researcher, a classroom research focusing on the use of Augmented Reality has been being carried out at the University, the Faculty of Law Enforcement and Military Sciences and Officer Training. Measurement tools: pre- & post vocabulary tests; flow state questionnaire. The first results show a significant difference between the study & control groups in the flow state of would-be police officers, which means that they perceived the process of teaching & learning supported by AR as a challenge and experience, but the same cannot said about the would-be military students. 

As associate professor I am involved in different activities apart from teaching international economics, international trade, internationalisation and competitiveness or tourism economics. This, in the last 12 years I've been working also as a Project manager of capacity building projects focused  mainly on  tourism, sustainable development and innovation in higher education. Digital transformation and energy transition are fundamental in the last years. My research background goes in the same line: economic growth, tourism economics, energy economics, climate change, innovation, and sustainable development.

Recently promoted to a managerial role, he leads a team specializing in developing innovative educational technology solutions within a university. Orland Delfino Tubola is currently the Director of the Research Institute for Strategic Foresight and Innovation. He is a licensed Electronics Engineer with a master's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle University and is currently taking up his Doctor of Philosophy in Energy Engineering from the University of the Philippines - Diliman. He is a DOST-SEI Scholar from College to PhD. He is also part of two non-government and non-profit organizations. He is the Founding Board of Trustee of Reboot Philippines, a youth organization that advocates for the just transition towards 100% utilization of renewable energy; and he is also the Academic and Content Advisor of Ulap.org, an NGO based in Denmark, that advocates for upskilling of underprivileged youth in the field of cloud computing.

Paula ELKSNE-REVELIŅA serves as the Director of the Education Innovation Laboratory at RTU Riga Business School (RBS). In this capacity, Paula plays a crucial role in managing RBS's project portfolio, which encompasses various fields such as digitalisation, entrepreneurship, and innovation, and involves partnerships with organisations across Europe, the USA, and Africa.
 
Paula pursued her academic endeavours at the State University of New York at Buffalo and earned her MBA from RTU Riga Business School. Pawel Pujszo has an interdisciplinary academic background. After obtaining BA in History and Politics (Warwick) and M.Lit in Modern History (St Andrews), he graduated with Advanced MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies (College of Europe in Natolin) and an interdisciplinary postgraduate diploma in Business and AI (Warsaw). Renata is a lawyer with specialisation in Intellectual Property Law, Civil Law, Media Law, ICT Law and participated in the project Artificial intelligence from the point of view of law and ethics. She studied LL.M. Studies at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and specialized study of intellectual property at the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic. Prof. Dr. Richel Lamadrid's stint in the academe has spanned more than 25 yrs which honed her craft in research and developmental undertakings plus teaching. She presented and published papers on corporate social responsibility, strategic management, entrepreneurship, ethics, and labor relations. She was and still is a promoter of international interuniversity cooperation by the European Union Erasmus + Capacity Building of HEIs and the Belgian government that widened her professional network.

Robert Nowak, DSc PhD MSc(CS), is an associate professor and head of the Artificial Intelligence Division in the Institute of Computer Science in the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology at Warsaw University of Technology. Research areas include software engineering, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence and data fusion. He is involved in developing 30 software systems with efficient implementation of complex algorithms for WUT, European Defense Agency, Braster Co., mBank Co., Octagonet Co. and others. Author of 180 articles, 4 books, 2 patents. Author of 10 lectures (80 editions), supervises 60 theses. Project management (>20 years), Scrum Master, PRINCE2, RUP, TRIZ, UML, C++, SQL, Python, JavaScript, Java, R, Fortran, Pascal, Rust, microprocessors techniques.

Roman Senkerik is a professor and the head of the A.I. Lab at the Department of Informatics and Artificial Intelligence at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. He also serves as a professor of AI at the Department of Computer Science within the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at VSB - Technical University Ostrava. He has authored over 50 journal articles, 300 conference papers, several book chapters, and editorials. His primary research interests include generative artificial intelligence, bio-inspired optimization methods, machine learning, and distributed systems. Specifically, his work focuses on developing evolutionary algorithms and machine learning models, as well as their modifications and benchmarking. He also explores applications of LLM-driven frameworks for generative AI, automated machine learning (AutoML), and data science. Additionally, he has secondary research interests in chaos theory, complex systems, and cybersecurity.

Rozanne Tuesday G. Flores is an Associate Professor at the College of Technologies, Bukidnon State University-Main Campus, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Philippines. She is the Chair of the Student Mobility Program and serves as the concurrent University Student Internship Program Head. Her research interests encompass a wide array of topics, with a primary focus on the utilization of learning management systems and digital educational tools. She is well-versed in theories related to information systems, data privacy, and data analytics and was recently involved in projects associated with DRRM, GIS, and AI.

Sandra Lovrenčić is a Full Professor with Tenure at University of Zagreb Faculty of Organization and Informatics (UNIZG FOI). She holds Master and PhD degrees in Information Science.  Her research interests include Knowledge Management in general, as well as Ontologies and Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, and also application of Artificial Intelligence in business, including ethical and sustainability aspects. She teaches courses in these fields and is also active in work on computer science education. She has served as a vice-dean for education and students (2019-2023), Head of Department of Theoretical and Applied Foundations of Information Sciences (2023-ongoing) and  Head of Centre for volunteering and humanitarian work (2013-ongoing) at UNIZG FOI.

After nearly a decade in the industry, I decided to move to academia and completely my Ph.D. in statistics and decision science from IIT Bombay. My research interest lies at the intersection of social/cultural economics and analytics.  I often use tools from ML and AI to investigated the issues pertaining to cultural economics. 

Guo Xuanyang is a current PhD Candidate at Southwest University of Political Science and Law. His academic interests lie in the realm of network space and international governance. Dr Shnaoli C A is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at West Bengal State University, India. With a 17-year teaching journey, mentoring four Ph.D. candidates, her interests comprise Techno-pedagogical skills, Lifelong Learning, and Learners' Psycho-social Well-being. Her research papers have been presented at over 40 International and National Conferences. Her books and research papers have been published in Scopus-indexed journals, and she has authored chapters in edited volumes and modules. She was honoured with the Best Paper Presentation Award at the International Conference in the Philippines in November 2024. She was the Principal Investigator of a Minor Research Project funded by the Indian Institute of Teacher Education, India, titled "Physical and Psycho-social Safety of School Children in West Bengal". She collaborated on a project with the Institute for Adult Learning, Singapore, titled "International Survey on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education".

Mr Zhang Shuyan is studying MA SIRPA at Fudan University. He has extensive experience in international organisation and diplomatic work. His research interests focus on AI global governance and great power competition in science and technology. Mr Zhang is the coordinator in organising ASEFInnoLab5 from Fudan University’s side. 

​Dr. PHAUK Sokkhey is Head of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC), where he also serves as Program Coordinator for the Master in Data Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and has over 10 years of academic and research experience in data science, AI, and statistical modeling. His work focuses on machine learning, data analytics for education, health, and sustainable development, and the integration of AI into public sector decision-making. Dr. Sokkhey has led multiple collaborative research projects and international academic partnerships, and actively mentors graduate students in applied AI and, educational data mining, data-driven research in sustainable devlopment goals.

Suphichaya Suppipat is a design lecturer at the Department of Industrial Design, Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Corporate Sustainability Management and Life Cycle Assessment from the Institute of Environmental Engineering and Management, National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan. In addition, she has a background in Industrial Ecology and Industrial Design.

Suphichaya's research interests focus on sustainable design, life cycle thinking, and life cycle assessment (LCA) tools for designers in product development. With over a decade of experience in the product design industry and academia, she spends most of her time teaching the concept of life cycle design strategies and integrating various LCA-based tools in the product design and development process for design practitioners in Thailand. She teaches Form-related Design, Furniture Design, Innovative Design, and Sustainable Design courses at the department. 

With 14 years of experience in academia, research, and industry, I am an accomplished academician, AI researcher, data scientist, and entrepreneur. As an Erasmus Mundus Scholar, I earned my PhD in Computing from University de Lyon, DISP Lab. INSA, Lyon, France, developing AI-driven analytical and predictive models validated through real-world business cases and public datasets, resulting in over 20 journal publications. My academic background includes an MS in Software Engineering with distinction from CUST Islamabad and foundational studies at the University of Punjab. Professionally, I have served as a Senior Software Engineer with the Pakistan Airforce, Country Coordinator for the 23rd ASEF Summer University, and Scientific Researcher under the EU Horizon 2020 program. Currently, I lead the Department of Software Engineering at The Superior University Lahore, focusing on integrating AI and data-driven solutions for sustainable development and innovation in higher education.

Pavan is a serial entrepreneur with a strong track-record of investor returns and successful exits including start-ups, high growth and turn-arounds. He also has 20+ years of international Senior Partner level corporate advisory experience in Country & Regional Head roles across Australia, USA, South East Asia and India with Strategy consulting & Private Equity firms such as Halcyon Partners, AT Kearney, Stern Stewart & co. and the Boston Consulting Group. In earlier career roles, he worked in corporate strategy; technology management and incubation, and as an engineer and research scientist. Pavan is an Indian born, US educated, Australian citizen, former permanent resident of Singapore.
 
Applied research interests are in learning innovations leveraging immersive engagement and bio-feedback based objective measures for better strategic thinking ; and in better appreciating the role of sub-conscious cognitive processes for Adaptive Strategic decisions under high flux and uncertainty.

Thomas is Head of the Business Faculty at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt (Austria). In this capacity, he is responsible for 100+ staff and for developing the study programme and research portfolio of the Faculty, which currently has about 2,000 students and offers 17 study programmes. Prior to this, he worked in economic research and policy consulting for over 15 years. He has published widely on a broad range of economic policy topics. He has participated in and led national and international research projects and has extensive experience as a lecturer and speaker. He holds degrees from the University of Bologna, the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He was a visiting scholar at various European universities and was affiliated as research economist with the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) in Boston.

Tim Wawn is a former Chartered Accountant with a Master's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management. He has over 20 years of experience as a CEO/Director of listed and private companies in Australia, and also extensive experience as an investor in early-stage businesses. He is currently based in Kazakhstan where he teaches Entrepreneurship and Management in the Graduate School of Business at Nazarbayev University in Astana, as well as being involved in a number of entrepreneurial projects. He was part of a team that won the "Innovative Teaching Award" at Nazarbayev University in 2023 and his current area of interest is in using AI as an aid in decision-making.

Ummuhan Bardak is a senior specialist on labour market and migration at the European Training Foundation (ETF, an agency of the EU) for 20 years. She has been involved in several projects related to the labour market, employment, human capital development and migration in the European Neighbourhood countries. Her work on those topics has encompassed research and analysis, policy dialogue, project management, and capacity-building. Highlights of her work have been labour market reviews, skills anticipation and matching methodologies, the future of work and future skill needs, youth transition, returns to education and TVET, and the skills dimension of migration – mainly in the South Mediterranean, Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership regions. She has written and/or edited several publications on these topics.

Urszula Lis is from Poland, where she is studying Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology. She has been involved in the student movement since the beginning of her studies - from being faculty-student representative, progressing to Co-president of the ENHANCE Alliance Student Forum, and then becoming a member of the Executive Committee of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland. She is also a Student Expert at the Polish Accreditation Committee. Currently she is Membership Coordinator at the European Students' Union. Her area of work focuses on AI and digitalisation in EU and its influance on students' experience and Higher Education.

Vera Lucke is Deputy Head of the ASEM Education Secretariat (rotating Secretariat currently hosted by Italy 2022-2026) and is coordinating and co-organising its activities. She works at CIMEA (Italian ENIC-NARIC) and coordinated and worked in a number of international projects on recognition and internationalisation of higher education. She also worked in the Bologna Follow-Up Group Secretariat 2018-2020 when it was hosted by Italy and she was involved in several working groups since then.

Dr. Viengdavong Luangsithideth was appointed as officer of Ministry of Education and Sports, Department of Higher Education in the Division of Academic Affairs since 2017 until now. Her main responsibility is International Cooperation, Project Coodinator, education management, planning, and gender development in the higher education. She holds her Bachelor degree in Education Geography at the National University of Laos, and her Master degree also Doctoral degree in Education Management and Leadership from the State University of Malang, Indonesia. She also has an experience as a lecture on subject education management at the Kanjuruhan University, Malang, and also ever as a volunteer in the World Vision Indonesia in Papua. Dr. Viengdavong Luangsithideth has played important leadership roles for development credit transfer regulation and mobility, and also she has in a wide range of national and international event as a researcher in social sciences; gender justice and democracy.

I graduated from the Electrical Engineering Department with a specialization in machine learning for authentication. I have been lecturing at Adisutjipto Institut for 13 years with research topics about signaling. Now, I am developing research related to artificial intelligence and radar technology.

Professor SHEN Yi is the director of the Research Center for the Global Cyberspace Governance, a non-resident researcher at the China Cyberspace Studying Institute, and individual director of China Association of Cybersecurity. His main research focuses on cybersecurity, cyber diplomacy and the governance of global cyberspace. From 2008 to 2009, Professor SHEN Yi went to Georgetown University as a post doctoral research fellow in the School of Foreign Affairs.

In 2013, Professor SHEN Yi published his book on the National Cybersecurity Strategy of the US and also participated the Conference of Cybersecurity and Informatization, which was hosted by President Xi Jinping on 19 April 2016, as one of the ten key speakers.

Yong Yoon is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Economics at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

He is an applied econometrician with various journal publications in the economic modeling of choice, family economics (ageing), labor economics (informal work/employment, gender-wage gap), and data science (ML and AI). He also works as a consultant for UNESCAP and ITU on trade, borrowing costs and 5G enablers. Yong Yoon is passionate about teaching and has taught for many years in top universities in Asia and in Africa. He earned his PhD in Economics from Seoul National University, South Korea.

Zsolt Almási is an associate professor in the Institute of English and American Studies, Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Hungary. His book, The Problematics of Custom as Exemplified in Key Texts of the Late English Renaissance came off the press in 2004. He is the co-editor of the journal, Digitális bölcsészet (Digital Humanities) and was co-editor of books with Mike Pincombe, Writing the Other. Humanism versus Barbarism in Tudor England, (2008) and New Perspectives on Tudor Cultures (2012). More recently he co-edited with Kinga Földváry two special issues "Shakespeare in Central Europe after 1989" and "Theatre in the Digital Age" of Theatralia. He serves as the head of the Department of English Literatures and Cultures, the president of the Hungarian Shakespeare Society. His current research projects and publications focus on Shakespeare, Shakespeare in the contemporary Hungarian theatre, digital Shakespeare, and digital and visual culture, AI in education and culture.
